Vase

The unnoticed begs to appear long before I am aware of the full picture. As I create each piece, in no particular order or devised plan, they begin to echo parts of the day that I had forgotten, every observation made from home. Certain allegories explored through simple form, using offcuts and rejected bits drying in the corner, and glaze, testing its limits - like its paint. Then the result puts it simply, my inner and exterior world merge into one, capturing ships, passerby’s, landscape and pieces of our natural world within my own personal place.
